Our Illumicrate Fantasy theme for December is . . . STORYTELLERS!
Tell me a story, tell me a rhyme, sit for a while if you have the time.
Our December book is The Fires of December by Brandon Sanderson and you’ll not want to miss this box if you’re fans of:
- Sarcastic narrators with character and personality
- Ragtag friendship groups trying to save the world
-
Standalone entrypoints to expansive universes
The hand you have been dealt in life is not always ideal, but you do your best to make the most of it. For our heroine, this means following the rules and circumstances laid out for her, until a life-changing event makes her reassess. Determined to change the fate of her land and people, she sets out to stop a deadly plague before it begins. But who will believe a woman from a small village, armed only with tenacity, wisdom beyond her years… and the demon cat she met along the way?
