About the product
This set features a mix of fantasy, romance, pirates, magic, unban fantasy, and even paranormal stories all wrapped up into this bundle of our favourite works from New York Times bestselling author F.T. Lukens. This F.T. Lukens set includes; So This Is Ever After, In Deeper Waters, Spell Bound and Otherworldly.
So This Is Ever After: Arek didn’t think about what would happen after he fulfilled the prophecy. He’s officially King of Ere, but only Arek and his mage, the devastatingly handsome Matt, know that the role comes with a catch: marry by your eighteenth birthday – or die. Arek’s got three months to find his One True Love and save his own life. But things go painfully and hilariously wrong . . . until he discovers that love might have been right in front of him all along.
In Deeper Waters: Prince Tal has waited a long time for his coming-of-age tour – a chance to explore his family’s kingdom. When his ship’s crew discovers a mysterious prisoner on a derelict vessel, Tal feels an intense connection with the roguish Athlen. So when Athlen leaps overboard and disappears, Tal is heartbroken. But it’s not long before Athlen turns up on dry land, very much alive, and as charming – and secretive – as ever. When Tal is kidnapped in a plot to reveal his powers and destroy his family, Athlen might be his only hope. But can Tal trust him?
Spell Bound: Edison Rooker is determined to gain access to the magical world. Problem is, he doesn’t have magic. But he does have a plan: get a job as apprentice to powerful sorceress Antonia Hex. He also has an illegal Spell Binder device, which he must keep hidden from the Magical Consortium, at all costs. With his new job, Edison is given a new name – Rook – which he happily accepts. He’s less happy about working alongside Sun, the grumpy but annoyingly cute apprentice to Antonia’s big rival. When the Consortium gets wind of Rook’s Spell Binder, they come for Antonia. Rook turns to the only other magical person he knows: Sun. The two must team up to save Antonia . . . or face losing their magic forever.
Otherworldly: Ellery doesn’t believe in magic. Sure, they’ve been stuck in a five-year winter, but there’s got to be a scientific explanation for that. They’re more concerned with working hard to send money back to the family farm than with whether there’s a goddess out there who could put a stop to it. Knox has been trapped in the human realm for years. In service to a powerful witch for a decade, Knox is finally freed when her crossroads deal meets its terms. But Knox isn’t sure he wants to return to the Other World, especially since his queen seems to have abandoned him. When a chance encounter finds Ellery coming to Knox’s rescue, they're suddenly face to face with a (annoyingly attractive) guy who claims to be a supernatural familiar – something they definitely don’t believe. But Ellery needs a way to stop the endless winter and save their family farm, and Knox needs a human who can tether him to their realm. A crossroads deal can’t go wrong, can it?

What is Illumicrate?
Illumicrate started life as a quarterly subscription box, and we're proud that we were the first UK book subscription box! We launched in the summer of 2015, and our very first box was November 2015. We now offer two options for the Illumicrate monthly subscriptions: a full box subscription and a book only subscription, which features the books included in our monthly boxes.
In 2021 we launched Afterlight, a quarterly romance subscription box that is now monthly. Evernight, a quarterly horror subscription box, was launched in July 2023. Our new science fiction book only subscription Starbright will launch in February 2025.
We also offer special editions of books and book sets, with a range of customisations exclusive to Illumicrate. We have also held virtual signings and in 2019 we launched our Debut Boxes, showcasing new debut authors. Our Collections, Archives and Mini-boxes focus on a particular author or fandom.
